A new indie horror title is aiming to carve out a place in the multiplayer space with a concept that is as unusual as it is ambitious. Someone’s Inside Me, developed and published by SUPERLOU, is an upcoming action-adventure game that combines survival mechanics, dark humour, and competitive multiplayer gameplay inside a living human body.
The game places players in the role of students who have been trapped during a bizarre “field trip” orchestrated by their teacher, Ms. Morbid. Split into two opposing teams, players must race to escape the body while competing for resources and sabotaging one another along the way.
At the centre of the experience is its multiplayer design, which blends cooperation and rivalry. Teams are tasked with scavenging for items, upgrading their escape vehicle, and outmanoeuvring their opponents in a race to survive. The inclusion of proximity chat adds an additional layer of strategy, allowing players to communicate only when nearby, opening the door to deception, ambushes, and shifting alliances.
What distinguishes the game from other entries in the genre is its setting. The entire experience takes place inside a human body, which acts as a dynamic and unpredictable environment. Players must navigate hazards such as stomach acid, viruses, and other biological threats, while also adapting to random events that can alter the map, including sudden movements or changes in the host’s condition.

Progression revolves around repairing and upgrading a “Magic Van,” which serves as the team’s means of escape. Players can enhance its speed, durability, and capabilities while collecting items such as weapons, health supplies, and tools scattered throughout the environment. These mechanics are designed to encourage replayability, with each match offering different challenges and outcomes.
Despite its horror elements, the game leans heavily into dark comedy and chaotic gameplay. Its tone balances grotesque imagery with lighthearted mechanics, positioning it as a social, party-style experience rather than a traditional survival horror title. This combination could make it particularly appealing to groups of players looking for unpredictable and shared experiences.
Someone’s Inside Me is currently in development for PC, with no confirmed release date. As interest grows, its distinctive premise and focus on multiplayer interaction could help it stand out in an increasingly crowded horror genre.
