Assassin’s Creed Hexe Leak Reveals Alleged Editions, Pricing, and Post-Launch Plans

A new leak has potentially revealed how Ubisoft plans to sell Assassin’s Creed Hexe, including its game editions, pricing, pre-order bonus, and post-launch content.

The information comes from Ubisoft insider AgaiinTx and was first reported by TwistedVoxel. While Ubisoft has not officially confirmed any of the details, the leak paints one of the clearest pictures yet of what players could expect when the next mainline Assassin’s Creed title eventually launches.

According to the report, Assassin’s Creed Hexe will be available in three editions. The Standard Edition is said to be priced at $69.99, while the Deluxe Edition will cost $89.99. A premium Collector’s Edition is also reportedly planned, with a $119.99 price tag. If accurate, the pricing would closely follow Ubisoft’s recent release strategy for its biggest AAA games.

The leak also claims that anyone who pre-orders the game will receive an exclusive bonus quest. Details about the quest have not been shared, but the report suggests Ubisoft is once again using additional in-game content as an early purchase incentive.

Beyond launch, Ubisoft is reportedly planning to support Hexe with a major story expansion alongside booster packs. While this wouldn’t be unusual for the publisher, it indicates that the company may already have a post-launch roadmap in place despite the game not yet being fully unveiled.

The report also includes several gameplay and story details. Hexe is said to carry a PEGI 18 rating and follows a new protagonist named Anika during the German Witch Trials. Players will reportedly explore three interconnected regions featuring forests, villages, rivers, towns, and military outposts. Although the map is expected to be sizeable, the experience is described as being more focused and linear than recent RPG-style entries such as Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Valhalla, and Shadows.

Perhaps the most surprising claim is that Ubisoft has reportedly removed overt magical abilities from the game. Earlier rumours suggested Hexe would feature supernatural powers, but this latest leak indicates the studio has shifted toward a more grounded approach while retaining the dark, horror-inspired atmosphere that has defined the project since it was first announced.

As with all unconfirmed leaks, these details should be treated with caution until Ubisoft makes an official announcement. However, the reported editions, pricing, and overall direction align with previous rumours suggesting Assassin’s Creed Hexe will be a darker, more narrative-focused departure from the franchise’s recent open-world RPG formula.
