A new survival horror experience is on the way, and it’s bringing dinosaurs back into the spotlight in a big way. Clawed, an upcoming title from Flatrock Games, is shaping up to be a tense mix of exploration, combat, and co-op survival set inside a fallen prehistoric theme park.
Set in a once-thriving attraction known as Prehistoria, the game places players in the middle of a covert mission that quickly spirals out of control. What begins as a routine operation soon turns into a desperate fight to escape a park overrun by deadly creatures that were never meant to roam free.
From what’s been revealed so far, Clawed leans heavily into classic survival horror design. Players will need to explore a large, interconnected environment filled with abandoned enclosures, dense overgrowth, and underground tunnel systems. Resources appear to be limited, forcing careful decision-making when it comes to combat, exploration, and progression.
Dinosaurs are the main threat, and they’re not just background set dressing. Creatures like fast-moving raptors and larger apex predators are designed to hunt the player, creating constant pressure throughout the experience. Rather than turning players into unstoppable action heroes, the game emphasizes vulnerability, encouraging a mix of stealth, strategy, and precise use of weapons to survive.
Alongside its horror elements, Clawed also introduces puzzle-solving mechanics, with environmental challenges standing between players and key areas of the park. These moments aim to slow the pace and build tension, a staple approach for the genre.

One of the more notable features is its online co-op support. Players will be able to tackle the experience together, potentially changing how encounters play out as teamwork becomes part of survival. Whether that makes things easier or simply more chaotic remains to be seen.
Visually and thematically, Clawed draws clear inspiration from classic dinosaur media, but with a darker, more grounded tone. The focus is less on spectacle and more on survival, with an emphasis on atmosphere and unpredictability.
Currently targeting a Q2 2026 release, Clawed is still early in its public reveal phase, meaning there’s plenty left to learn. But based on its premise alone, it’s already shaping up as one to watch for fans of survival horror and dinosaur-driven chaos alike.
