Warhorse Studios may have accidentally revealed the title of its next medieval RPG after a newly discovered European trademark filing surfaced online.
The trademark, filed with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), is for the name “Kingdom Come: Salvation” and features branding that closely resembles the Kingdom Come series. While the developer has yet to make an official announcement, the filing strongly suggests that this could be the next entry in the franchise.
Warhorse previously confirmed it was working on “a new Kingdom Come adventure” alongside an open-world Lord of the Rings RPG, but no title or gameplay details were shared at the time. The newly discovered trademark appears to provide the biggest clue yet about the project’s identity.
One detail in the filing has attracted particular attention from fans. Among the trademark’s listed services is the phrase “entertainment services for matching users with computer games.” This wording has led to speculation that the next Kingdom Come title could introduce some form of online functionality, such as optional co-op or multiplayer features.
It’s important to note that this does not confirm multiplayer. Trademark filings often include broad legal classifications that cover features a developer may never implement. At this stage, Warhorse Studios has made no public statement about online play, and every game in the Kingdom Come series has been a purely single-player experience.
The title itself is also noteworthy. Rather than continuing the “Deliverance” subtitle, the trademark uses “Salvation,” which could signal a fresh chapter for the franchise. Whether that means a new protagonist, a different time period, or simply a new direction for the series remains unknown.
With Kingdom Come: Deliverance II concluding Henry’s story, many fans believe Warhorse could now be preparing to introduce a new cast of characters while maintaining the series’ signature focus on historical realism and immersive role-playing.
