JOIN US is an upcoming open-world survival sandbox from Wolf Haus Games that takes a very different approach to the genre. Instead of simply surviving the apocalypse, players are tasked with building and leading their own doomsday cult, recruiting followers, expanding a settlement, and creating a thriving community in a dangerous world. The game is currently scheduled to launch on PC in March 2027.
One of the game’s biggest features is its recruitment system. Nearly every NPC you encounter can be persuaded to join your cause, with each follower bringing their own skills and personality traits. They can gather resources, construct buildings, defend your base, farm, craft equipment, and even accompany you into combat, turning your settlement into a living, evolving community.
Base building and management play a central role, allowing players to construct everything from simple shelters to large compounds. You can also shape your cult’s beliefs through a unique teachings system, choosing strange doctrines that influence how your followers behave and how your settlement develops. The game embraces a dark sense of humour, giving players the freedom to create some truly bizarre societies.
Outside your base, the world is filled with dangers. Players will explore a large open map, scavenge for supplies, craft equipment, and battle hostile civilians, law enforcement, military forces, and wildlife. Combat combines firearms and melee weapons, while dynamic weather and permanent character death add extra tension to every expedition.
JOIN US can be played solo or with up to four players in online co-op, letting friends build, explore and survive together. With its unusual premise, deep management systems, and blend of survival, crafting and colony building, JOIN US is shaping up to be one of the most original survival games currently on the horizon.
