While no official announcement has been made, the claim has renewed optimism among fans who have been waiting since the game’s original reveal in 2021.
The remake was initially announced during the PlayStation Showcase in 2021 while under development at Aspyr Media. However, reports of development difficulties emerged the following year, and the project was eventually transferred to Saber Interactive.
