War of the Worlds is an upcoming survival horror title in development by indie studio FlipSwitch Games, aiming to reimagine the classic alien invasion concept as a brutal, open world survival experience. Currently listed on Steam with a release date still to be announced, the project is being positioned as a long term, community driven game that will evolve through Early Access.

Set in a world on the brink of extinction, War of the Worlds drops players into a devastated landscape dominated by towering alien machines and collapsing human resistance. The game is built around hardcore survival systems, requiring players to scavenge for food, water, weapons, and supplies while navigating ruined towns, military zones, and hostile wilderness.
