It’s probably the best unboxing of a PlayStation 5 you’ll ever see, 24k gold plates and a price tag of £8000 – YouTuber Miniminter just flexed on us all.
Finding a store with any stock of PlayStation 5s can be a mammoth task right now, thanks to delays caused by the pandemic, parts shortages and even Brexit. Now add scalpers to the mix and you’ve got a situation so dire on your hands that even the UK Government have got involved to help out.
But what if we told you there might be an answer to help you fill that PlayStation 5 sized gap next to your TV with a nice shiny console. Opting for a gold-plated PS5 might be just what you need. Scalpers aren’t buying up these version of the console, probably due to the massive price tag and the fact there’s not many people in the market for one. The limited edition console is only having 250 units produced, but it also comes in an 18 karat rose gold or a platinum finish.
YouTuber Miniminter bought one of these consoles so you don’t have to, and you can still see what the console looks like in person without having to break the bank. “This is really sick, I’m actually really gassed by this,” he said as he opened the box. “It’s like you’re holding a baby” his partner added.
The console was delivered in a briefcase style crate with his logo as well as the Sidemen logo printed on the side, inside was the gold console, gold-plated headphones as well as gold-plated DualSense controllers.
