A Call of Duty: Warzone feature that helped control toxic behaviour in the game has been removed in the latst update.
The Season 4 Reloaded update has removed the games ‘report offensive chat’ feature.
Call of Duty: Warzone has just received its Season 4 Reloaded patch which has brought some changes to certain elements of the game.
The updates main goal was to rectify a number of small bugs that had cropped up in the game, however it seems that it has also disabled some features too.
The patch brought fixes to issues found in some weapons, Dead Silence, Blueprints and the Sentry Turrent Killstreak icon.
Of course these are not major changes, but one change that has caught players eyes is that the report offensive chat feature has been removed from the game completely.
This means that players will not be able to report any chat as the button has been removed from the game, this leaves the door open for toxic behaviour.
The developers have currently claimed that they are investigating an issue which could connect the feature with a crashing issue some players have experienced.
This has left players concerned over a potential increase in toxic behaviour as some players may use this opportunity to abuse the system.
Of course this is only a temporary issue, the games community has began asking a number of questions.
Players may want to prepare themselves for an increase in toxic behaviour in the game, but in the meantime be sure to check back with us at Gamerficial for the latest news and updates.
