Xbox To Release Update On Its PC Gaming ‘Commitment’

Melika ZaidiBy Melika ZaidiMay 3, 2021

Xbox will reportedly update fans on the future of PC gaming.

Since the release of the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, Microsoft have been pulling out all the stops to continue to grow their Game Pass service.

A new rumour has surfaced suggesting that Xbox will be issuing an update to fans detailing what is in store for the future of PC gaming, due to its large community of Xbox fans playing on PC.

Known insider Jeff Grubb mentioned in his Game Mess Show that there will be an upcoming update from Xbox Game Studios expected to arrive on April 29th. The update is claimed to arrive in a blog post rather than in an event.

Jeff Grubb said “I believe that Microsoft will be doing an update about its commitment to PC gaming”.

He also went on to say “There’s a lot of like good news around Microsoft and Xbox and stuff like that, and there’s a lot of people who are saying oh there’s a lot of good things happening. Uh and, But if whenever someone has a criticism of Xbox and Microsoft, the one thing is always the PC side of like Game Pass doesn’t seem quite as good.”

He finished up be saying “This is not an event, this is not like a big showcase, this is probably a blog post or something like that. But I imagine that Matt Booty is going to come out and try to talk about PC gaming.”

Of course, we must take this information with a pinch of salt as it is all just speculation at the moment. Fans will just have to hold on to see what is in store for the future of Xbox and PC.
