Xbox Game Pass Could Be Coming To Other Consoles

Microsoft are looking to bring Xbox Games Pass to other consoles a leaked document from the Epic Games and Apple lawsuit trial revealed.

Microsoft are investing a lot into Xbox Game Pass with a constant stream of new titles and content, now it looks like Microsoft wants to broaden horizons and expand the service to other consoles.

For those who don’t know, Xbox Game Pass is a service where gamers can gain access to a library of over 150 games for a monthly subscription fee. The service has versions on PC and console alongside its newly released Cloud Gaming feature.

The new Xbox Cloud Gaming service allows players to stream a host of games directly to their mobile devices and now it seems that Microsoft it trying to make the leap to other consoles, especially with the new cloud service.

This was confirmed by a document that was leaked from the court case that is currently taking place between Epic Games and Apple, the leaked document shows emails sent between Xbox lead Phil Spencer and Epic CEO Tim Sweeney discussing the potential over getting Xbox Game Pass on other consoles such as Nintendo Switch.

It does state in the email that this would take place through Xbox Cloud Gaming, this would then allow players on other consoles to play some of the most popular titles on Xbox Game Pass.

There are many gamers who have been hoping for Xbox Game Pass to come to Nintendo Switch particularly which proves to be interesting as Xbox and Nintendo have both been hinting at an upcoming partnership.

This gives us a good indication that we could see this as a possibility in the future, however players will have to hang on to see what is in store.
