Last week we saw a brand new trailer released revealing upcoming zombie-shooter title World War Z: Aftermath during IGN’s Summer of Games expo.
The title will take place during the same time setting as the movie, we saw the previous title World War Z take inspiration from the original novel published back in 2006.
World War Z the third-person shooter was released back in 2019 and was available across PS4, Xbox One and PC with a port for Nintendo Switch on the way, the game went on to sell over 3 million copies.
The new World War Z: Aftermath trailer featured a series of popular landmarks from all over the world being swarmed by zombies, the official website states that the title will be a co-op zombie shooter which will be able to support up to four players.
Players will also have the chance to battle zombies in different major cities across the world such as New York, Marseille and Tokyo.
There will also be a ton of new features as well as returning fan favourites such as a new melee weapon system and returning characters.
Players will also have the ability to use brand new perks, moves and weapons such as sickles, dual-wield knives and cleavers.
Another feature of the title that stuck out is players will be able to easily change to first-person mode.
However, there will be one feature in the game that will be exclusive to PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC, Horde XL mode will be where players can battle it our against huge hordes of zombies as the name suggests.
World War Z: Aftermath will be available later this year and will be coming to consoles and PC.
