Players have been begging for a new map for the longest time now, and it’s finally happening. The Pacific map has been revealed, and fans can’t get over how bright and colourful it looks.
Call of Duty: Warzone is getting a new map with the release of Vanguard, and its going to be set in the Pacific, bringing huge terrain changes, and points of interest unlike those seen in the current maps.
It was during the multiplayer reveal on September 7 that the developers decided to give fans a few clips and pictures showing the upcoming map.
The reveal was brief, but that was enough to get fans excited. The video shows the main setting for the game, featuring lush green landscapes, blue skies, and an overall brighter and more saturated colour palette than fans are used to in Verdansk and Rebirth Island.
The teaser only lasted 30 seconds, but fans couldn’t be happier with what they’ve seen so far. Most commented on the new vibrant colours, with others saying it looked beautiful.
“It looks so f**king good, like it actually has colour.” one fan wrote, summing up the communities reactions pretty well.
As well as the new Warzone map being announced, the developers also went on to let fans know of a few more additions. Including more playlists, community events, and anti-cheat, which will be in place when the new map drops.
