Warzone will remain using same engine as it intergrates with Black Ops Cold War

It has been reported that Call of Duty: Warzone will remain running on its current engine as it integrated with Black Ops Cold War.

Activision have confirmed that there will be no changes made to the engine for Warzone, it has been speculated in the past if it would move over to the engine powering Black Ops Cold War.

Fans are anxious to see this merge as Treyarch’s Black Ops is completely different in comparison to Modern Warfare, with a drastic difference in looks and feel of the game itself.

We are curious to know just how much of Black Ops Cold War we will be able to feel in Warzone after the merge is made. What we do know so far is that any new content in the Black Ops store will also work in Warzone as well as operators unlocked will also be useable in both games.

Any weapons that players unlock will also be playable across both games as players had previously expected, along with being able to use Modern Warfare content in Warzone.

Players had been concerned regarding the merge as to how it would work, however Activision have confirmed that gamers can choose between using their Black Ops loadout or their Modern Warfare loadout in Warzone, which hopefully has put some minds to rest.

The integration of Warzone with Black Ops Cold War has cause some heated discussions with players as many have already taken to social media to express their concerns of the games merging.

Fans can only wait now until the official launch to see how it will all play out.
