Warzone Tournament Has Been Delayed After Aydan & Tommey Drop Out

Melika ZaidiBy Melika ZaidiJuly 27, 2021

Warzone players Aydan and Tommey had dropped out of an upcoming tournament du to “rigged” teams.

The upcoming $10,000 Warzone Tournament has faced changes and has also been postponed and Aydan and Tommey’s teams have dropped out.

In eFuse’s latest tournament they decided to mix things up a little by trying a “casters and creators” type of event in which they put $10,000 up for grabs.

The event was set to feature one casual caster team which would be then teamed with two grinders for each team.

In order to be eligible to take part in the event, eFuse said they must have casted at $1,000 in Warzone prizes along with never having won one of their events previously.

Tommey then backed out from the event after having seen some of the teams that were due to take part in the event, Aydan also dropped out leaving eFuse to postpone the tournament.

Tommey took to Twitter to say “Opting out of the tournament today. It was meant to be a fun tournament with casters who spend their days talking over our gameplay, having a chance to now play alongside and compete against their peers. Sucks when people see a prize pool and only that.”
