The embers are still hot from the launch of Warzone Season 2, and fans are already looking towards Season 3 and what it may bring. There has already been plenty of speculation surrounding the upcoming new season, here is everything we know so far.

A new season means a new batch of fresh content, whether it comes in the form of new weapons, Operators, modes or maps, each new season brings something new to the table. The launch of a new season usually indicates the largest content drops of the year, mixing up the game for players and attracting new audiences.

As Season 2 continues to go strong and its storyline continuing to unfold with sudden twists and turns, it is suggested that we could be headed towards a huge nuclear event. These suggestions take the expectations for Season 3 to the next level with players expecting more from the game than ever before.

Already we have a good indication of when we can expect to see Season 2 draw to a close, the Battle Pass countdown shows that we can expect Season 2 to run for a total of 55 consecutive days. Taking this information on board, it makes sense to assume that the current season will come to t a close on April 21st, although as much as this seems to be concrete date, it’s possible that we could see a mid-season delay mixing things up.

Going by the suggested end date of Season 2 as April 21st, we can assume that Season 3 will drop almost immediately after although there has been no official confirmation from the games developers on an exact date.

There has also been rumours spreading regarding a new map coming to the season, as Warzone passes its first anniversary the speculation and leaks continue to grow. As leaks continue to suggest an upcoming nuclear event, with the addition of Zombies in Verdansk and a series of bunkers opening throughout the map, it seems that all the details are pointing us in the right place for the speculated event.

Could this mean that we could see a completely brand new location? Previous leaks have suggested that the upcoming new map could have an 80’s theme with a lot of classic Black Ops POIs. Although, with all leaks we must take them with a pinch of salt until an official announcement is made.

Fans can hope to see a host of new Blueprints and weapons in the new season too, just as we have seen in each season in the past. We can’t say for sure just how many weapons we can expect to see or what they will be just yet, it is often that we see a couple released at the beginning of the season and the rest released as the season progresses.
