Warzone players are becoming frustrated that an aim assist exploit is giving others the upper hand when on rooftops.
Aim Assist has always been a controversial topic in Call of Duty: Warzone, the feature is mainly applicable to those using consoles and controller users but some players believe that it is too strong.
Season 3 of Warzone has just dropped and has brought with it a host of brand new features, locations and operators however that’s not the only thing it has brought with it.
Players have seemed to report issues with Aim Assist, one player has discovered that using a specific exploit can make it stronger than it should be. Putting this exploit into practice gives players the ability to shoot through a rooftop to secure kills.
Reddit user ‘ThePizzaCook’ took to the platform to share their thoughts on Aim Assist, the post reads “I think aim assist is busted I was able to get it through the roof of this building. It would give me a slight drag while not ads. I started blindly shooting until I got hit markers, this should NOT be a thing”.
The clip shows the player using Aim Assist while sitting on a rooftop, it is clear that when they fire the gun the target suddenly locks which would become a problem for anyone wandering around inside the building.
The post was soon flooded with lots of other comments from other players who agree that the strength of the Aim Assist is too high however there were plenty of comments from other player who disagree and think it is just fine as is.
Players have often agreed that the feature is too strong and and may need to undergo some amendments as it allows players to rack up lots of easy kills without putting in much effort.
As far as we know, the games developers are unaware of this problem however if this issue continues to grow within the community it could be that we see some changes made.
