Players have been very vocal about their feelings towards the Rebirth Island’s new Resurgence Extreme game mode and here’s why.

The Resurgence game mode had proved to be extremely popular with players in the past, in fact you could say it was one of Warzone’s most popular game modes… ever.
Recently, it was added back into the game with the new Season 2 update, fans had high hopes as the fan favourite mode was returned to the game, however it hasn’t had quite the reception that everyone had hoped.

The original game mode was once one of the most popular modes in Warzone, it kept fans on their toes with its fast paced action, although it seems now that fans have been left very disappointed with the new Resurgence Extreme mode.
Players have been taking to social media to share their opinions on the new mode, many have complained that the mode is overpopulated with far too many players. With the map being very small they feel that 90 players is somewhat over powering for the tiny size map, it is especially frustrating for some as this is double the amount of players of the original Resurgence mode.

There has been many complaints from players that the new mode is borderline unplayable as the large amount of players takes a serious toll on their ammo. Claims have suggested that it is not possible to complete the mode as their ammo lasts a matter of seconds, with too many players to try and take down it is near impossible to engage in gunfights with others with the amount of ammo they have.

As the map is already over crowded it has been making it increasingly harder for players to pick up their loadout drops which leads to even more issues. This then adds even more pressure to the ammo shortages as players cannot grab a weapon with the fully loaded perk, as if that wasn’t enough it also forces players into using bad ground loot weapons which again may have a limited amount of ammo.
With many players calling begging the games developers to remove the mode all together, who knows what will happen to the mode in future. Could it be we seen some amendments made to the mode to make it more playable or will the devs listen to the fans remove it all together?
Only time will tell what will happen, but be sure to check back with us at Gamerficial for future updates.
