Warzone: Players are Demanding ‘terrible’ Gulag Weapons to be Removed

Players have been asking for the removal of some weapons from the Gulag, concerned that some of these weapons tend to be doing more harm than good.

You can usually predict what to expect from any battle royale game, however The Gulag is what really sets Warzone apart from its competitors. This one of a kind experience in the gives players a chance to respawn after their death by engaging in a 1v1 battle.

The Gulags of Verdansk and Rebirth Island have proved to be extremely popular with the Warzone community, however this doesn’t mean their haven’t came under siege to a fair bit of criticism too.

Many players are feeling that some of the weapons in the Gulag ruin the competitive element of this particular part of the game. It was noted on Reddit in a feedback post, user ‘JustAMicrowav1n’ brought to the table the fact they also thought some of the weapon choices were frustrating.

Their main point in the post was that the effect these weapons have on high skill games, along with some technical issues the weapons face.

“Sure, it does shake things up a little bit, add a bit of freshness to it, make people with different skill sets shine. But come on, fists in the gulag? throwing knifes?”

“I know this is shaking up things, but trust me, when you are in one of “those” sweaty games, where the pace is just perfect and you gotta win the gulag, or you’re the last hope of your squad, or even if you’re just mad about getting killed in the first place, that is VERY FRUSTRATING to get these specific weapons.”

The player then went on to confirm “Just revert it back to the old one with pistols, SMGs, ARs or LMGs. (fuck shotguns too because of their inconsistency). Sorry for the rant but I had to get this off my chest.”

The post seemed to be met with a lot of comments from other players who also agreed with the notion, although the weapon selections are regularly updated it seems they have hit the last straw with some players who are calling for them to be removed in their entirety.

However, fans will just have to hang on and see if these weapons are removed, could it be they are scrapped altogether or they are simply thrown back into the rotation?
