A Warzone fan has gathered data that appears to confirm streamers and pro players are being placed in easier lobbies.
Skill-based matchmaking has always been a controversial topic in the Warzone community and now the discussion seems to be getting deeper as one player has accused Warzone of issuing pro players easier lobbies.
One Warzone player has taken to YouTube with a video seemingly showing proof that pro players are being places in easier lobbies and therefore getting an unfair advantage.
Reddit user ‘Quaisy’ also took to the platform with a spreadsheet showing their discovery, however the post has since been removed, despite Quaisy stating in their post that the stats were merely collated from their own frustrations and not aimed as specific creators.
The video states that pro players are being whitelisted, this then means that they are granted special treatment such as placed into easier lobbies. These lobbies will have much lower K/D ratios than what an average player would get.
One example was well known YouTuber JackFrags, who found himself in 0.56 K/D lobbies on a regular basis, they had found that in 78% of lobbies had a K/D below the average.
There is a huge number of difficult games on the chart which can clearly be annoying, there was also some video evidence that was featured in the video too.
Many fans have jumped to the conclusion that this is happening as devs, Raven Software want to encourage streamers to keep playing.
Of course, this is all speculation although the data provided does make some interesting points.
