Rumours of an impending nuke event have been circulating for quite some time and now it seems that a release date, time and location have been confirmed.
For a while now, rumours surrounding Warzone Season 2 coming to a close in a destructive nuclear strike have been at an all time high, but with no official dates on when this event would actually take place fans were left wondering just when the nuclear event would eventually hit.
It now seems that a release date, time and location have been confirmed for the upcoming event, here is everything we know.
Call of Duty leakers have been in receipt of packages teasing certain events arriving in the game such as the piggy bank for the Bank outbreak along with the scrubs for the hospital and much more.
But the most recent packages seem to suggest something a little more sinister…
Call of Duty League caster Joe ‘MerK’ DeLuca took to Twitter to share the latest teaser he has received. His package included a release date for the Nuke Event along with the location in which it will take place.
The accompanying note in the package reads “Once the hostiles reach here, we levee a guess that Verdansk is all but gone to the damned. April 21st 12PM“.
The post was met with thousands of retweets and lots of comments from excited players who have been anxious to find out just when and where this event is taking place.
It seems that the event will happen very close to Bunker 11 when the Zombies reach the Verdansk Dam which makes sense considering what is inside Special Bunker 11.
When this event completely wipes out Verdansk, could this be leaving a door open for the debut of a brand new map? This could be an incredible start to Season 3.
Players should expect the Nuke Event to take place at around 12PM on April 21st, however at the moment it is unclear just what timezone it is referring to. As soon as we have further intel we will be sure to keep you update so be sure to check back with us at Gamerficial.
