Recently it seems that all information is leading towards Verdansk facing a huge nuclear explosion in the near future, but just when will this take place? Here is everything we know so far.

As we are almost reaching the one year anniversary of Warzone, it has gone from strength to strength with no signs of slowing down anytime soon. The game has proved to be very popular amongst the gaming community overtime gaining itself a loyal fanbase.

Rumours regarding what we can expect to see in the game’s future have been spreading thick and fast and it seems according to leakers that players can expect to see a new map arriving in the near future. The map is rumoured to be set in the Ural Mountains and it said to be based off the Fireteam Dirty Bomb from Cold War.

The speculation surrounding the arrival of a new map has of course sparked questions about the old one, it seems that Verdansk could cease to exist as we know it. Verdansk has been a prominent location in the game since its launch, of course it has seem some changes over time but now it looks as if we could loose the map as we know it all together.

There has been a number of leaks recently that has suggested that Verdansk will be completely wiped out by a nuclear strike, could it be that we see this take place when the Zombies Outbreak event comes to a close?

Rumours have suggested that Zombies will take over the entirety of the map after having abandoned the Shipwreck location, this would then result in the map being nuked to stop the spread.

A number of dates have arisen as to when we could expect this to take place, a source originally suggested that we could see this iconic moment take place on March 11th, however this date has since been discredited. Everything is now pointing in the direction of the event taking place sometime in April, although a precise date and time have not been given as of yet.

Of course, will all leaks we must take this information with a pinch of salt as nothing has yet been officially confirmed by Activision. The leaks do all seem to point towards a nuke event although we can’t be totally sure that it will follow the zombie theory.

Fans will just have to hang on for an official announcement on what we can expect in the near future, but be sure to check back with us at Gamerficial for the latest updates.
