Raven Software have seemed to step things up when it comes to cheating in Warzone, now there is a new feature that warns players if there is a hacker in their game.
Calk of Duty: Warzone is no stranger to hackers causing havoc in the game and it seems that over the last few months the problem has spiralled out of control.
The problem seems to have gotten so bad that many top players and streamers have chosen to ditch the game for good favouring other titles such as Apex Legends instead.
Now it looks as though Raven Software are taking things to the next level when it comes to tackling cheaters, the devs recently announced that they were issuing another ban wave this time banning over 50,000 accounts.
Since then, many of the cheaters who were banned fled to social media to share that they could no longer make a new account after the ban.
This had been the way cheaters had been bypassing the bans in the past, by simply making a new accounts however going forward this will no longer happen.
Now, the devs have taken things a step further by introducing a new feature that will give players the ability to see when a hacker has been banned in the game.
CharlieIntel spotted the feature and took to Twitter to share the news, the post read “New: Raven has updated the kill feed in Warzone to now show when they ban a player during a game. The kill feed now says “Username has been banned” instead of “disconnected.” (name blurred in this image).”
This will come as good news to many fans, hopefully this mean that the game is headed in the right direction to tackle the ongoing hacking issues.
