Call of Duty: Warzone players have gotten their hands on heaps of new content following the release of Season 4, as much as the new season has been well received by the community, it has came with its fair share of technical issues.
Now, Warzone fans have reported facing some major FPS drops while playing the game and are hoping the the devs step up quickly to issue a fix for the titles lag problem.
Encountering lag problems can be a huge problem when trying to play any online shooter and it seems that players are having enormous issues trying to make it through their matches.
Reddit user ‘cheryvilkila’ took to the platform to share their frustrations on their issues, the post read “The game is unplayable since the update, ping ranges from 90ms-699ms, its usually 90 when im in a field on my own and 699 when im in a gunfight or enemies are close. Its very frustrating. Im on Series X.”
The post was soon met with comments from other players who claim to be experiencing the same issues with some players branding it ‘unplayable’. Most players reports seem to have taken place during the most intense parts of the game leaving them unable to finish gunfights.
The lag issues seems to be affecting players across PlayStation, Xbox and PC however no one is entirely sure what has been causing these problems.
Although this is not the first time the game has seen this type of problem surface, it is usual for the title to experience some kinds of technical issues around the release of a new season.
The developers are usually quick to act on these issues, so hopefully there will be a fix in the works for this problem soon.
