Players are calling out for the return of night-time modes for Halloween.
As Season 5 of Warzone is well underway, players are gearing up for the upcoming Halloween event which is due to take place in October.
There has been many different modes implemented into the game since its release last year, however the mode that proved to be most popular with fans was the night-time BR.
The night-time BR mode transported players into a land of darkness as the whole map was plunged into the depths of the night, now that fans have explored every inch of the current map, many are calling out to the devs to bring these night-time maps back.
Reddit user ‘Kaaaaos’ took to the platform to share their thoughts on the matter, suggesting that Warzone had reached its highest point back in October of last year during the last Halloween event.
The Haunting of Verdansk Halloween event which took place last year included a series of zombies and nighttime modes.
The post read “Warzone peeked at last halloween.. BRING VERDANSK AT NIGHT BACK!”
The post was soon flooded with over 100 comments from other users in agreement with the post, one user wrote “Verdansk at night was cool, I was hoping they’d spook it up more than they did.”
Another user said “The Haunting was honestly one of my favourite things CoD has ever done. Perhaps I’m biased though, as I love Halloween events and all the aesthetic included within that. That said, apparently Ghostface and possibly Myers are coming, so they’ve got something good cooked up!”
A third user said “he haunting of verdansk was the best event, by far. But this afternoon (what a coincidence) I thought : and what if they could have made special zombie skins for each operator for the zombie royale ? I kept on thinking that, that would have been the hugest thing they could have done.”
So it looks as if players would welcome nighttime modes back into the game, heres hoping that there will be more in store than we think this Halloween.
