Vanguard Leak Reveals Returning Fan Favourite Mode And Possible Weapons

Recent leaks from a reputable leaker have revealed a series a weapons that could be making their way into this years Call of Duty title along with the return of a fan favourite mode.

As the presumed release date of this years Call of Duty title draws closer, its not surprise that leaks and rumours have started to surface with information on what this years instalment is set to include.

Call of Duty 2021 is said to be set in a World War II setting and will be named Vanguard, it is thought to launch later this year as new instalments in the series release regularly around October each year.

Of course, further details on the games modes, weapons and maps usually stay under wraps until we find ourselves closer to the official release date.

However, we seem to have some details on what they features may be thanks to leaker ‘TheMw2Ghost’.

The leaker took to Twitter a few days ago to share with fans a series of new weapons that will allegedly be coming to this years title.

The Tweet read “Saw some footage of CoD 2021 / Vanguard recently. Definitely WW2 uniformed soldiers.”

“Saw a Kar 98 (they were using MW19’s asset for it) some WW2 trench shotgun, Molotovs. The map they was playing on *looked* as if it was set in an African palace. HUD looked like WaW’s.”

If that wasn’t enough, TheMW2Ghost also continued to say in another post “Saving the best for last… An iteration of Headquarters *might* be coming back for CoD 2021 / Vanguard”

This means that the fan favourite mode Headquarters could be making a return into the game, for those who don’t know Headquarters was a multiplayer lobby that allowed players to complete challenges and interact with other players in third person.

The mode seemed to struggle when it was part of the game as players were often encountering lagging and glitched, despite its potential.

Of course, with every leak we should take this information with a pinch of salt and hang on for an official announcement revealed what we can expect in this years Call of Duty title.
