Up to 10 players can group together in each adventure, this has lead to the game gathering a strong and dedicated fan base on streaming sites due to the nature of its exhilarating game play. But that’s not all, recently it was revealed by the games studio confirmed that the title has raced towards and smashed yet another financial milestone.

It seems that the title has reached an immense 5 million sales just one month after the games initial release, this quick rise in sales has boosted Valheim to the top of the Steam sales charts. The announcement was proudly displayed on the games Steam page, it included a detailed account from Iron Gate of all of the completed milestones the game has reached since its release.

Not only this, the title has also managed to rack up over 35 million hours of gameplay on Twitch, which works out as a rather impressive 15,000 years of playing the game.

The title is clearly going from strength to strength and looks like it has no intention of slowing down anytime soon as it becomes the 39th best reviewed game on the PC storefront. It seems that the game is becoming a viral sensation and reaching the success of other titles we have seen in the past year such as Among us and Fall Guys.
