House of Ashes will be the newest title to be added into the Dark Pictures Anthology series.
The upcoming title, House of Ashes will be set during the Iraq War in 2003 and will follow a team of soldiers as they explore a storage facility located underground, as they investigate this location in the hopes of finding a series of chemical weapons.
As the American and Iraqi soldiers continue to explore this underground bunker, they find that it is actually an ancient temple which seems to be crumbling which leads to them being followed by a series of haunting events.
Following in the footsteps of Man of Medan and Little Hope, this upcoming title will mark the third entry into the Dark Pictures anthology from Supermassive games.
Supermassive Games are the studio behind the creation of fan favourite horror title, Until Dawn.
Within each entry in the Dark Pictures anthology, players will find themselves experiencing a host of new environments, characters and storylines. There are both single-player and co-op modes for fans to enjoy in which players can take on the role of a variety of different characters.
The choices and decisions made by players throughout the game can have a huge affect on how each game comes to and end with one or more characters coming to an untimely death.
The Moral Compass in the game swiftly changes between directions as each decision is executed in the game which has a knock on effect with how characters in the game react to you.
