Ubisoft have revealed what is in store for the future of Assassin’s Creed.
A new report from Bloomberg has claimed that the next instalment in the Assassin’s Creed series will be live service and will grow and evolve over time.

The title is set to be called Infinity and will supposedly start out with a series of different settings in history, as the title progresses players will be able to explore new settings as the game receives regular updates.
The upcoming Infinity title is reportedly said to be inspired by the likes of GTA 5 and Fortnite, being that it is set to be a online platform and will get regular new content added as times goes on.
This means that the way that Assassin’s Creed titles are developed will change.

A spokesperson who chatted to Bloomberg did not go into any details of the title however they did acknowledge the existence of the title.
Since then, Ubisoft have confirmed that the title is in early development and is a project that has been codenamed Infinity.

Marc-Alexis Côté, who is the executive producer of Assassin’s Creed is leading the project along with brand director Étienne Allonier, this will also include multiple Ubisoft studios.
Jonathon Dumont and Clint Hocking will be the titles creatie directors and work alongside Julien Laferrière who will be the senior producer.

It may be a while before we see a release on this title but its certainly exciting to know its in works and will be freshening things up with a new appraoch.
