Ubisoft recently announced that Tom Clancy’s The Division: Heartland which is a free-to-play standalone title.
The title is being developed by Ghost Recon studio Red Storm Entertainment and is due to come to PC, Xbox and Playstation sometime between 2021 and 2022.
Ubisoft have also noted that another The Division game is in the works for mobile devices and if that wasn’t enough there is also The Division movie that is currently in development with Netflix featuring Jake Gyllenhaal and Jessica Chastain.

For true fans there is also said to be The Division novel also on the way, the storyline of the upcoming book is set to be set post The Division 2.
Ubisoft had also mentioned back in March that they were planning content for The Division 2 alongside plans for a huge update for the game that is set to head over later this year, the upcoming update is set bring with it a brand new mode to the game.

Last week we saw Ubisoft confirm that the franchise creator Massive Entertainment is now being assisted on the upcoming update by Ubisoft Bucharest.
Over its lifespan, The Division has reached over 40 million players since the very first title arrived in March back in 2016.

We then saw its sequel arrive 3 years later in March of 2019, the title then went on to achieve its highest number of active monthly user in March 2022 after the release of its Warlords of New York expansion.
Fans will have to hang on for further information on the upcoming spin off title, as with no clear date set for release its anyones guess when we could finally see this happen.
