A LinkedIn profile belonging to a former employee of Lost Boys Interactive has hinted at the potential development of two new games, including Borderlands 4 and Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands 2. The profile in question belongs to Randel Reiss, who served as the Studio Technical Director at Lost Boys Interactive for three months in 2022.
During his brief tenure, Reiss’s work encompassed a variety of notable projects. Not only did he contribute to Borderlands 4 and Tiny Tina’s Wonderland, but he was also involved in Brothers in Arms, WWE2K23, Amazon’s New World, Elder Scroll Online, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands 2, and Zombie Sim.

Lost Boys Interactive, a company known for its collaboration with Gearbox, particularly on the first Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands game, has a history of working on various titles from the Take-Two Interactive lineup. This relationship further adds credibility to the speculation surrounding the unannounced game.

The Borderlands series, a flagship offering from Gearbox, has enjoyed widespread success and acclaim, making the prospect of a new installment like “Borderlands 4” a topic of keen interest among fans and industry watchers alike. Similarly, “Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands,” another Gearbox creation, has exceeded expectations both critically and commercially, as noted by Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford in 2022.
Pitchford’s comments have fueled further speculation. He revealed that Wonderlands not only shattered target expectations but also paved the way for Gearbox to establish a new franchise. With “future experiences already under development” as mentioned by Pitchford, there is a strong implication that more content, possibly full-fledged titles, are in the pipeline.
However, Pitchford did not explicitly confirm whether these developments pertain to entirely new games or additional DLCs (Downloadable Content). Nonetheless, the suggestion that “Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands” has evolved into a franchise hints at the likelihood of new, substantial releases.
