The Simpsons Hit And Run has always proved to be incredibly popular with fans since it was released back in 2003, however now it seems that the one developer has created something pretty interesting.
Radical Entertainment have created a game which is essentially The Simpsons meets Grand Theft Auto, you may even wonder why this has never been done before.
This allowed players to explore a series of different sandbox areas which were jam packed with content from the show, fans were also able to get their hands on a number of drive-able vehicles and visit these iconic locations.

Even though The Simpsons Hit And Run was one of the most popular games of its time, it is unlikely that we will ever see an official remake created due to a number of licensing issues.
However one fan has taken matter into their own hands and created the remake we have all been waiting for.
This remake has merged all these smaller sandbox area together into one giant open-world Springfield, the creator ‘reubs’ noted however that this will never be available to download.
