Warzone’s season 5 has broken the Shotgun attachment for the Famas, making it ridiculously over-powered. The update turned the shotgun into a one shot kill in Warzone.
The Famas has been a fan favourite in a few Call of Duty games up to this point, but for some reason, In 2019’s Call of Duty, the FR 5.56 was underwhelming, it just wasn’t quite as good as it was in previous games. Especially the fully automatic version in Black Ops.
Following the launch of season 5, some players have found that the FR 5.56 is now the most overpowered gun in the game. In particular, the 12-Gauge Deputy attachment, which is able to kill players with full plates from up to 15m away.
Attention was first brought to the load-out by XclusiveAce but it was Faze Swagg who revealed the loadout he is using to dominate in Warzone.
I saw Ace’s video about Underbarrel FR 5.56 and thought I’d give it a try… Yeah, it’s gotta get fixed lol from CODWarzone
As with most shotguns, its incredibly good at close range, but the damage fall of is high in longer-range gunfights. To keep the Famas viable at all times, here are the attachments you should be using, thanks to Faze Swagg:
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel: FR 24.4” Sniper
- Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic
- Underbarrel: 12-Gauge Deputy
- Ammunition: 60 Round Mags
The loadout is explained at 17:19 in the video below.
The only downside of the loadout being the amount of ammo you can carry for the shotgun, meaning you’ll always need to be on the lookout for more, or carrying a munitions box with you.
Infinity Ward have confirmed they are looking into a fix for the overpowered gun so it will be fixed soon and you wont have much time to experience this if you want to give it a go.
