Take-Two have taken action on more mods that are using content from previous games Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City and San Andreas.

The publisher of Grand Theft Auto, Take-Two have issued more copyright takedown notices for a number of mods that can be found on LibertyCity.net. These mods are said to contain content from previous Rockstar Games, the mods add elements from older Grand Theft Auto games into the new games.
The content included is from games such as San Andreas, Grand Theft Auto 3, Vice City, Bully and Manhunt.
Take-Two have faced a number of legal battles this year, including the takedown notices for reverse-engineered versions of the Vice City and GTA3 titles.

However since then, these projects were restored but Take-Two have issued more takedowns on mods that include material from previous titles in the Grand Theft Auto franchise and move in into GTA 5.
There has also been a number of mods that are combining a series of older titles from around the GTA3 period and merging them into a new one.
This has resulted in a group of modders taking down their mod for San Andreas that they had created 14 years ago, in fears that they were to be targeted next.
Could it be that the company plan on releasing something similar in future?
Of course there is no way to know the exact reason at the moment, although this theory could align with recent rumours that Take-Two are creating “iterations of previous released titles”.
