Long awaited title, STALKER 2 is rumoured to be delayed.
STALKER fans have been waiting eagerly for the much anticipated STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl sequel as it has been well over fourteen years since the original title released.
A number of factors have seemed to push the upcoming sequel back time and time again such as financial issues, fans were starting to think the title would never see the light of day.
Fans were left in the dark, thinking that STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl had been left in the dust as the majority of the developers went to work on the Metro game series, however Microsoft revealed at E3 2021 that STALKER 2 would indeed be an Xbox exclusive.

During this announcement at E3, there was also a reveal of gameplay footage along with screenshot from STALKER 2.
The screenshots gave fans some insight into what they can expect when the title eventually does release, the images showcased the titles enhanced graphics and next-gen features.
According to Youtuber ‘OLDboi’, it appears that STALKER 2 has now been delayed from its scheduled release date of April 2022 to Fall of 2022.
If these claims prove to be correct, it looks as if fans are going to have to wait even longer to finally get their hands on the game and dive into the action.
When we finally see the game release, tensions will be high as players will be expecting huge things from this sequel considering the time it has taken to be completed.
