Someone has taken on the task of recreating the insanely realistic Unreal Engine 5 train station demo in PlayStation’s Dreams.
Martin Nebelong, who is an artist working for Media Molecule, the developer behind Dreams, has recently took on the task of recreating Lorenzo Draco’s demo.
The demo was created to show off the power of Unreal Engine 5 without actually using the software.
Nebelong showcases the process of creating the level with a timelapse, he noted that he had managed to create everything using the PlayStation Move controllers.
The post read “Here’s a timelapse of making the train station scene in Dreams on my PS5. No mouse, no keyboard. Just waving my arms in the air with two glowing wands 😀 Big props to Lorenzo Draco for the inspiration.”
The finished product looks absolutely incredible thanks to all of the intricate details Nebelong managed to put in.
The video description reads “Hi everyone, here’s a timelapse of the creation of the Train Scene I did in Dreams, inspired by the amazing UE5 scene made by Lorenzo Draco”.
“I recorded most of the process in real time, so I’ll try and upload that version for you so you actually have a chance to dive into detail on what’s going on with the various techniques.”
