This year, Rockstar will be giving us an ‘enhanced’ version of Grand Theft Auto V and GTA Online for the PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, but we also know that behind the scenes they are working on Grand Theft Auto 6 whish is also hopefully bound for the same consoles.
Many fans would also like Rockstar to return to some of the previous entries in the franchise, San Andreas, Vice City and even Grand Theft Auto 3. All of these would be great for a remaster, but at this point, its probably very naive of us to expect Rockstar to do such a thing.
Although Rockstar themselves may never go back to the earlier games, YouTuber ‘XXII’ has, releasing a new video on their channel “GTA: San Andreas Definitive Edition”. A fan made trailer which shows us what we could expect if the game was remastered for PS5.
The trailer gives us a look at the game with a visual upgrade, and while it might not be on the same level as what we might expect from a Rockstar remaster, it certainly is good enough to make us wish we could play it, and all the characters we know make an appearance. CJ, Big Smoke, Ryder, Officer Frank Tenpenny and many more.
San Andreas, Vice City and more were re-released on PlayStation 4, so we could expect the same for PlayStation 5, but as of now, this isn’t confirmed. So for now, all we have to look forward to is the enhanced edition of Grand Theft Auto v and GTA Online. Who knows, maybe a Grand Theft Auto 6 reveal is coming soon too.
