Rockstar Looking To Shut Down GTA Online Soon New Leak Suggests

Alex KirtonBy Alex KirtonApril 20, 2022

A rumour recently started circulating within the GTA community that GTA Online could be receiving its final update later this year. The rumour suggested that the final update will take place before a marketing campaign for GTA 6 begins.

Well known leaker Matheusvictorb claims that all of Rockstars attention will be turning to GTA 6 after GTA Online gets its final update, information which has left the GTA community divided.

Many people still play GTA Online and with some of them spending hours in the game to unlock new vehicles and businesses they’ll no doubt be disappointed to hear that they will be losing all of that progress when Rockstar eventually move on to GTA 6. The other half of fans are those who have moved on from GTA V and GTA Online altogether and are patiently waiting for the next installement.

Other fans are divided about whether or not the source of the leak can be trusted. Matheusvictorbr has been off the mark a few times in the past when. it comes to leaks, although this can probably be said for most leakers. While another leaker Yan2295 says that Matheusvictorbr’s claims aren’t worth listening to.

We have heard in the past that GTA 6 is due to release in 2023 or 2024 with a release coming later this year, but we won’t know for certain until Rockstar make an official announcement.
