Grand Theft Auto fans have been waiting almost a decade for a new instalment in the series.
Developer Rockstar Games even confirmed this week that they have pretty much abandoned Red Dead Online and that GTA 6 “more than ever the need to exceed players’ expectations and for [GTA 6] to be the best it can possibly be”.
Red Dead fans have not received this news well with many planning an in-game funeral for the title, a post urged fans to gather in their best funeral suits for the occasion.
It’s been a tough year for the team, especially with the GTA Trilogy receiving so much criticism following its release, although it seems that the team are finally taking on fan feedback.
A number of improvements and fixes for GTA Online are going to arrive later in the summer, but information on GTA 6 still remains sparse.
Fans have had no choice but to rely on rumours and speculation for their fix of information on the game, a number of reports suggest that the title will be completely different to what veterans of the franchise will be expecting.
It looks like fans will have to wait this one out and await official announcements from Rockstar, but in the meantime be sure to check back with us at Gamerficial for the latest news and updates.
