Now, Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two Interactive has revealed that Xbox Game Pass has potentially surpassed 30 million subscribers.
Zelnick was talking about the service in a podcast episode of TheGrill with Xbox boss Phil Spencer and when defending the decision for Take-Two not to support Xbox Game Pass he let slip the service’s numbers while congratulating Spencer.
Zelnick said “You’ve got around 30 mil subs, Phil. Something like that?”
Although Spencer did not confirm the number, the last amount that was share publicly stated that the subscriber count for Xbox Game Pass was at 18 million.

Of course, we don’t know currently if this number is correct or not, there is every possibility it could have been a comment made in jest or it could well be accurate information.
If this is true and Xbox Game Pass has reached 30 million subscribers, we are pretty sure they would love to share this information, so if it proves to be true we could be receiving an update in numbers soon.
