It has been rumoured that the much anticipated Grand Theft Auto 6 title may have hit some snags in the development stages, a new report has revealed that Rockstar Games have tun into a bit of trouble while developing the title.
It has also been reported that a potential Red Dead Redemption remaster is also in the works, these rumours comes from Rockstar Mag’s Chris. The source has claimed that following Dan Hauser and Leslie Benzies departure from the company, there has been a number of problems arise arise regarding the development of GTA 6.
Videos uploaded to Rockstar Mag’s YouTube channel touched on a few issues that have risen, according to the source, development on GTA 6 picked back up since Dan Hauser left Rockstar Games. Initially, the title was supposed to be announced last year in 2020 however the game has allegedly faced so many changes to the storyline and other aspects that fans shouldn’t expect a reveal anytime soon.
It has also been suggested that the title will be set across two different time periods.
The source also claims that there is a Red Dead Redemption remaster in the works for PS5, Xbox Series X and PC. This is interesting as Red Dead Redemption Remastered has been in the works for quite some time now, given the original title’s success along with Red Dead Redemption 2, we are sure it would prove to be pretty popular.
Although we must take this information with a pinch of salt as nothing has yet been confirmed, it looks like fans will have to wait it out for an official announcement.
