Red Dead Redemption fans are finally able to play in VR thanks to the creator of the GTA V VR mod.
A VR support mode for Red Dead Redemption has just been created by the creator of the R.E.A.L GTA 5 VR mod and is currently available through Luke Ross’ Patreon page.
The mod however is currently accessible in early access and will still receive a host of tweaks and improvements as time goes on. Footage of the VR title looks pretty impressive from what we have seen so far, players are also able to play in first or third person.

This mod took a hefty six moths to complete which explains the move to Patroen, the only way to access the mod is to become a patron, over on Ross’ page he states “Encouraged by the reaction, in 2019 I went on to create another total VR conversion for the huge GTA V game, a monumental effort that swallowed up all of my spare time for many months.”
Ross also says that this mod will give players around “50 to 160 hours of amazing gameplay” which will give fans plenty to sink their teeth into while exploring everything this VR experience has to offer.

“My intention is to keep improving this new RDR2 mod, as always listening closely to what you users and fans suggest, request and would like to see, and I also hope to be modding other AAA games with the same level of quality and attention that you have come to expect of me.”
Ross says he also has hopes to create VR experiences for other fan-favourite titles such as Horizon Zero Dawn, Watch Dogs: Legion, Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla amongst others.
