Updates for Red Dead Redemption 2 have been non existent for well over a year, and now it seems that fans are planning to host a funeral for the game in Red Dead Online.
The last time we actually saw new content come to Red Dead Online was back in July 2021, although we have seen a series of incredible mods breathe a little life back into the game in the meantime.
To mark the one year launch of the Blood Money update, which was supposedly the final update for the title, Red Dead fans are planning on hosting a funeral later this month.
The funeral is due to take place on July 13 and fans have been asked to come together in their funeral suits for the occasion.
Red Dead News took to Twitter to share the news with fans, the post read “Who’s up for it then? A funeral to celebrate one year of Red Dead Online being abandoned? Dress up in your best funeral attire, get your friends to join, tag us in pics & use the hashtags below! Save the date: Wednesday July 13th. Are you in?”
Could this be an attempt to grab Rockstar’s attention in the hopes that the team take action and launch some new content for the game?
We have already seen #SaveRedDeadOnline trend multiple times online recently, however this didn’t seem to have the affect that fans had hoped for as content is still lacking for the game.
