Five games will be disappearing from the Xbox Game Pass service after August 31.
Xbox Game Pass is regularly updated with fresh titles in order to offer players a wide variety of games to choose from at all times.
As often as new games are added, sadly games are also lost. There are normally a few games removed from the service each month, and this month is no exception as we see five titles making an exit from the service.
Four of these titles will be lost after August 31 and the last title set to be removed sometime in September.
Gamers who subscribe to Xbox Games Pass will no longer be able to access these titles, NBA 2K21, Blair Witch, Double Kick Heroes and Stranger Things 3: The Game.
Fans are surprised to see Blair Witch depart from the service after it was only added two years ago, Stranger Things 3: The Game was also a shock departure as it is reportedly going to be part of Netflix’s gaming service.
The fifth game that will be departing from the service is popular title Red Dead Online, which is the online multiplayer for Red Dead Redemption 2.
An official removal date for Red Dead Online is yet to be announced, but we will be sure to keep you updated when it does.
It is usual for Microsoft to remove titles around the middle or the end of each month, so it could be that we see it removed around the middle of September although its also possible it could go before then.
While this is sad news, there will also be some new titles coming to the service in the month of September however they are yet to be announced.
