Raven Software mentioned in a recent press briefing that a FOV slider could finally be coming to consoles.
Playing Warzone on PC has its advantages, one being having access to the game’s Field of View controls, whereas consoles currently have a fixed field of view which is unable to be changed which causes issues when it comes to cross-play.
Initially, the games developers claimed that a FOV slider on consoles would never be possible, however after many continuous requests from fans for an FOV slider Raven Software confirmed that they are looking into the possibility of adding it onto console for Warzone.
The Associate Creative Director at Raven Software, Amos Hodge had touched upon this at a recent press briefing saying that the studio has actually confirmed details on the FOV slider.
It appears that the development studio is currently looking in to implementing a FOV slider for consoles in the near future, however there was no further details on when this mat be.
Fans are excited at this potential addition despite there not being a concrete date or timeline in place, although it is comforting to know that steps are being taking towards making this a reality.

A field of view slider is a fundamental feature as it allows players to adjust the area in which they can see up to 120, this means they will get to see a larger portion of the map from the same view.
Consoles have not had this feature as of yet due to performance limitations, for example if the FOV slider was changed to 120 the title would face some performance issues on consoles such as Xbox One and PS4.
