Maypoles are now a craftable item, thanks to Valheim’s latest patch.

In the past players were only able to find Maypoles located in abandoned villages, however thanks to a new patch, they have now became a craftable item.

This will come as good news to players as Maypoles offer extra comfort when resting in their area, this comes into play with the ‘rested effect’ as it helps increase players XP gains while also boosting health and stamina regeneration rates.
The official Valheim Twitter account took to the platform to share the news with fans, the post read “Just in time for midsummer, players can now build a #Valheim Maypole of their own!”

Although this comes as good news, it does have its downside as players are more likely to have their things stolen or come under attack.

The patch has also administered some changes to monster Al which makes them more likely to carry out an attack on structures and buildings when they can’t attack players.
Players have had mixed reactions to the update with many saying that gredwarfs already cause irritation and after the update has increased this, players fear that it will only increase annoyance rather than contributing tot he game in a positive way.

Some players have also complained about how many big updates the game receives since Iron Gate Studios have pushed back their update roadmap leaving the first update to arrive later this summer.
