A dedicated Minecraft players is taking on the challenge of recreating the entire map from Zelda Breath Of The Wild in the game.
While the creation of the Zelda: Breath of the Wild map in Minecraft in still in progress, the results so far are impressive and it looks remarkably like the original.
Creator Dinaeh has been taking to Reddit to share the progress of this mammoth task, the project is being created using WorldPainter at 1:2 scale.
Dineah has also said that they hope to work with a host of other creators in order to build ruins and other landmark items to complete the rest of the map.

Fans have instantly recognised parts of the map that Dineah has shared online, such as the Gerudo Highlands and the Hebra Mountains.
Dinaeh posted the progress of these areas on Reddit, the post read “Recreating the Gerudo Highlands from breath of the wild!”.
Another post read “I’m making a huge BOTW survival map! I finished the Hebra region today”.
The post was soon flooded with hundred of upvotes and comments from fans who were impressed with the recreation so far.
One user commented “meanwhile, me who has never gotten to play Breath of the Wild watering at the mouth”
Another said “wow. i love breath of the wild, and this looks really damn good”.
A third commented “Holy shit that’s incredible! I hope there’s gonna be a map download soon!”
Dineah replied “Thanks so much! It has been great to see so much positivity on reddit. I’m planning on releasing a world download once completed. I hope I can convince a builder to make me some shrines, ruins and stables to put around the map!”
