Plans To Increase TTK For All Guns Revealed By Warzone Developer

Melika ZaidiBy Melika ZaidiMay 12, 2021

Raven Software will be cranking up the time to kill for every weapon in Warzone in future updates.

As with every multiplayer shooting title, there is always the issues of creating the perfect balance for weapons. It seems Raven Software have their work cut out for them when it comes to keeping the time to kill in check.

The TTK has always been a controversial subject with the Call of Duty community, especially with Warzone considering just how overpowering some weapons have been.

Now it seems that the devs are investigating new ways to amend the TTK which means administrating changes to every weapon.

Raven Software gave players some insight into what they can expect following the update on 7th May which brought changes to the PPSH, AMAX and Street Sweeper.

The devs made it clear that they will be looking at buffs for some weapons in Modern Warfare along with noting that the TTK will change in future too.

The devs said “We feel we are close to a ‘balance homeostasis’ where most options are at the very least viable” about the current weapons, they also went on to say “Which leaves us to address Time to Kill.”

“The following balance changes are part of our ongoing efforts to raise TTK or at least the individual skill required to reach extreme ones. We ask that you consider these changes not as targeted attacks, but rather as part of a larger initiative to raise the skill ceiling.”

An increase in the TTK will come as good news to players who are currently playing at higher skill levels.
