Here is the first information revealed on Maxis’ new simulation game.

It was first reported back in August of 2019 that Maxis was opening up their studio in Texas in order to create a brand new IP, this new title was said to be completely different from The Sims series.
Now, some information has finally came to light on what we can expect from the upcoming title. The information was first revealed by ‘PattonKieran‘ who shared a host of screenshots giving us some insight on what the IP will be about.

A job experience listing that was posted has revealed that it will be a Simulation HD game that will come to consoles as well as PC. We also know that it will be developed using Unreal Engine 4 and will feature a “3D menu navigation” system.

It is also reportedly said to include “super abilities” and will feature “co-op player vs environment” type events.
It has been suggested that the UI work started sometime back in 2018, which was followed by Maxis studio expansion in Texas.

Unfortunately, there is no other information revealing just how far into the development process the title is, however it is likely this could have been in progress for a few years already.
As it is a brand new IP we will be seeing something completely new from the studio rather than anything that ties in or is connected with an existing game.
