Nintendo fans have been waiting quite some time for the reveal of the new Switch console, although it may not be good news for some.

The new Nintendo Switch OLED console will launch later this year on October 8, fans will be able to get their hands on the new device with a 7 inch new OLED display.
The newest feature of the console is the 7 inch OLED screen while most of the hardware inside the console remains the same as the original model.
The new OLED display will treat players to new vibrant colours as well as a much higher contrast compared to what we have seen in the original Switch model and the Switch Lite.

Although it seems as if it is not all smooth sailing for gamers, especially for players who are fans of shooting titles.
There is a huge selection of shooter titles in the Nintendo Switch library, the Flip Grip device makes it easy for fans to pay shooter titles in vertical mode similar to arcade style games.

Unfortunately the creator of the Flip Grip, Mike Choi has recently spoken out to say that it looks as if the new OLED model will not support the device.
It appears a lot of fans had already began questioning if the Flip Grip would be compatible with the new Switch OLED console.

“Due to the lack of the back cents the Flip Grip registers against, the OLED model is NOT compatible, at least from my initial observation”.
Of course, it’s not all bad news as the new console does feature a wider stand which is adjustable for players to enjoy in tabletop mode along with a new LAN port to enhance online performance.

The device will also feature improved audio and 64GB of internal storage alongside a brand new colour scheme.
